Microsoft gifted Snoop Dogg a real Xbox Series X fridge for his birthday

How do you surprise someone who has everything? Especially when that person is Snoop Dogg, one of the most famous and recognizable rappers on the planet.

Microsoft seems to have found a way, gifting the rapper a refrigerator styled exactly like an Xbox Series X for his 49th birthday:

It's a pretty funny, self-aware move from the Redmond giant, especially since people have been comparing the Xbox Series X to a fridge ever since its initial reveal.

Now, those memes are officially reality. On Friday night, October 23, the legendary rapper posted a video on Instagram showing off a brand-new, fully functional fridge modeled after the console. It even features a glowing Xbox logo in the top-left corner, though it doesn't double as a power button like on the real thing.

The fridge was a birthday gift from Microsoft (Snoop celebrated on October 20). Before delivering it, the Xbox team even stocked the inside for him: it came loaded with an Xbox Series X birthday cake, some Xbox pancakes, a gold chain with an "X" pendant, and, of course, some gin and juice.

Snoop Dogg has since deleted the Instagram video, but a quick-thinking Twitter user managed to download it and share it with the world.
