Microsoft and Bethesda are joining forces to co-host an E3 2021 conference. As a key partner, Bethesda is expected to receive significant airtime and maintain creative freedom.
Matt Booty, Head of Microsoft Xbox Game Studios, recently confirmed that Bethesda and Microsoft will hold a joint press conference at E3 2021.
This news comes as no surprise; Bethesda has become the Redmond giant's primary gaming flagship since joining Microsoft. While Jeff Grubb previously suggested a month ago that Bethesda would only have partial involvement in Microsoft's upcoming E3 presentation, the developers of "The Elder Scrolls" will now get significantly more screen time for their content.

Beyond the announcement of a joint presentation, Mr. Booty also reiterated that Microsoft does not interfere with the affairs of acquired studios, allowing developers to retain full creative freedom.
As a reminder, E3 will once again be a digital event this year, with one of the gaming industry's major events running from June 12 to 15.
