
BioWare has officially announced Mass Effect: Legendary Edition for a spring 2021 release, while also confirming that the next game in the series is already in development.
Yesterday, in an official blog post, BioWare celebrated N7 Day with Mass Effect fans and shared some highly intriguing, crucial updates about the future of the beloved franchise.
First off, BioWare confirmed that the studio, specifically a team of seasoned veterans, is currently hard at work on the next Mass Effect game. Unfortunately, the developers didn't share any extra details beyond this announcement. Still, considering earlier rumors that the franchise was completely frozen, even this brief teaser was enough to get space RPG fans incredibly excited.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is set to launch this spring (2021) and will bundle the first three games. The remaster promises high-resolution and ultrawide support, higher frame rates, as well as upgraded textures, shaders, character models, and visual effects.
