The Mass Effect remastered trilogy has been pushed back to early 2021, with development slowed down by pandemic-related hurdles and the need to polish the original game.
Rumors of a remastered Mass Effect trilogy have been building for the past six months, with some even pointing to a release this fall. But it looks like the pandemic has forced a change of plans.
GamesBeat journalist Jeff Grubb has posted an update, reporting that publisher Electronic Arts decided to delay the highly anticipated Mass Effect Remastered Trilogy to early 2021. The main reason for the delay is reportedly the need to significantly upgrade the first game, which originally launched back in 2007.
