Indonesian overclocker Speed.Fastest pushed a Ryzen 5 3600 to 5,848 MHz, setting a new record in the Cinebench R15 benchmark.
Indonesian overclockers have been setting some incredible records over the last few days! Just yesterday we wrote about Ekky Jengkol's Ryzen 5 3600 record in the HWBOT x265 Benchmark - 4k, and today his compatriot Speed.Fastest has grabbed gold for the exact same Ryzen 5 3600, but in Cinebench R15.
While yesterday's post featured Ekky Jengkol's decent but otherwise average silicon, Speed.Fastest got his hands on a golden sample. See for yourself: the Indonesian overclocker pushed his Ryzen 5 3600 to a mind-blowing 5848 MHz to finish the Cinebench R15 run!
And damn, this isn't just a great result, it's an absolute milestone. Speed.Fastest's closest rivals, Keeph8n and CasualGamers, couldn't even break the 5500 MHz mark:

To be frank, beating this record will be extremely difficult, if not impossible. The only way it could happen is if AMD starts harvesting Ryzen 5 3600XT silicon for the cheaper Ryzen 5 3600.
The enthusiast's test bench used the following hardware:
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B550-I Gaming (BIOS 1004);
RAM: 2x 8GB Crucial BL8G32C16U4B.M8FE1;
Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 5450 (PCIe, GDDR3, 64-bit);
Power supply: Antec TruePower Quattro OC 1200W;
OS: Windows 10.
