Overclocker Jokot achieved a new Cinebench R15 record with a Core i7 4790K (6260MHz, 1285 points), but the ASUS Z97-AR motherboard didn't survive the attempt.

Finnish overclocker Jokot overclocked a Core i7 4790K processor to 6260MHz, taking gold in the Cinebench R15 discipline with 1285 points.

Jokot commented that his ASUS Z97-AR motherboard "passed away" after the experiments, meaning he likely won't be improving his score anytime soon.
