INNO3D is rolling out its LHR (Lite Hash Rate) RTX 3000 series graphics cards, complete with hash rate limiters aimed at deterring crypto miners and improving stock for actual gamers.
Today, INNO3D unveiled its custom RTX 3000 series graphics cards, all bearing the LHR (low hash rate) designation. These new devices are powered by updated, modified GA10X-X02 GPUs, which include a built-in hash rate limiter specifically designed for mining certain cryptocurrencies.
INNO3D isn't updating its entire existing lineup, instead focusing only on its most popular graphics cards. In total, ten new LHR-marked products have been added to the manufacturer's website:
⤢ ВІДКРИТИGeForce RTX 3080 with LHR - ETH 43 MH/s;
GeForce RTX 3070 with LHR - ETH 25 MH/s;
GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with LHR - ETH 25 MH/s;
This reduced hash rate offers a glimmer of hope that gamers might finally snag these highly coveted graphics cards at their recommended prices. Still, it's important to remember that the LHR series doesn't universally throttle hash rates across all algorithms.
Unfortunately, there's no word yet on when these new products will hit store shelves.
