HWiNFO v7.31, Build 4880 will support AMD Zen 5 processors. The utility will identify these upcoming CPUs, slated for a 2024 release and AM5 platform compatibility.
The upcoming build of the HWiNFO diagnostic utility, version 7.31.4880, will add support for AMD's next-generation Zen 5 CPU family.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИUnfortunately, even with this upcoming support, we won't immediately learn the clock speeds or core/thread counts of AMD's next-gen processors. However, the new HWiNFO will be able to identify some Zen 5 family chips, making it much easier for enthusiasts to track their development and monitor their progress all the way to release. Speaking of which, current data indicates that Zen 5 chips are scheduled for release in 2024.
Right now, we can confidently state only that AMD Zen 5 processors will be compatible with the current AM5 platform and its X670 and B650 chipsets.
