
Horizon Zero Dawn is now available on GOG. Alongside the launch, patch 1.08 allows players with older CPUs lacking AVX support to finally run the game, while also fixing several bugs.
Horizon Zero Dawn's latest 1.08 update brings a highly anticipated (and for some, unexpected) feature: the former PS4 exclusive can now run on CPUs without AVX instruction set support. In theory (which we will test very soon), owners of older first-generation Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors and certain Xeon chips (LGA 1366) will finally be able to enjoy Aloy's exciting adventures.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИIn addition, patch 1.08 aims to resolve multiple crash issues during shader optimization, as well as crashes when using mono audio or 5.1 audio devices. Here are a few other major optimizations included in this update:
Improved VRAM utilization and fixed several memory leaks;
Improved cloud performance on high and ultra settings;
As of today, Horizon Zero Dawn is also available on the GOG digital storefront.
