Half-Life: Alyx is now playable without VR

VR headset prices remain prohibitively high for most gamers. Still, many want to play Half-Life: Alyx, even if it's not a mainline installment in the beloved series.

That's where modders and enthusiasts always come in. A new Half-Life: Alyx no VR mod has just surfaced, letting you play the acclaimed title without a VR headset.

Here's some gameplay footage:

While not the first or even the most polished No VR mod, this is currently the only one that lets you complete the entire campaign with minimal issues.
