G.SKILL has released updated Trident Z Neo DDR4 memory kits, offering capacities up to 256GB. Designed for the 64-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X, these kits will enable users to build truly powerful PCs.
By launching the world's first consumer 64-core, 128-thread processor, AMD has effectively redefined the requirements and standards for high-performance PCs.
AMD's monstrous chip is incredibly capable, making traditional RAM capacities of 64-128GB woefully inadequate. Recognizing this, G.SKILL has unveiled an updated high-capacity memory kit specifically designed for the 64-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X processor.
This 8-module Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 kit boasts a total capacity of 256GB (eight 32GB sticks), relatively tight CL16-20-20-39 latencies, and operates at 1.35V.
With this kit, enthusiasts can finally build truly powerful workstations without having to compromise between high-capacity slow memory or low-capacity fast memory.
The 256GB Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 kit has already been benchmarked in G.SKILL's labs, paired with a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X processor and an ASUS ROG ZENITH II EXTREME ALPHA motherboard:
