Ubisoft's upcoming lineup, including Far Cry 6 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, will target 4K resolution at 60 FPS on both the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
With the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X launches right around the corner, top publishers are detailing how their upcoming games will perform on the new hardware. Today, Ubisoft confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, Immortals Fenyx Rising, and many other titles from its studios will fully leverage the power of next-gen consoles to run at 4K and 60 FPS. What's more, Rainbow Six Siege players on next-gen will get the same 4K resolution at an impressive 120 FPS!
You've probably noticed we haven't mentioned the highly anticipated Watch Dogs: Legion yet. Unfortunately, due to a heavy stack of modern tech layered over a relatively old engine, the game will run at just 4K/30 FPS with ray tracing on, though it can hit 4K/60 FPS in its performance mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИAssassin’s Creed Valhalla hits most platforms on November 10, followed by Immortals Fenyx Rising on December 3, 2020. Far Cry 6 will land on store shelves and digital storefronts on February 18, 2021.
Watch Dogs: Legion will actually be the first of these games to reach players, launching on October 29 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. The third entry in the hacking series will also be available on day one for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
