Fall Guys season 2 kicks off next week

The hype surrounding the chaotic obstacle-course battle royale Fall Guys has cooled off. Part of this is down to the surging popularity of another game, Among Us, but the developers also haven't released any major updates in a while. However, things are about to change.

Next week, Fall Guys kicks off its second season, a major update aimed at regaining some of its lost popularity. The upcoming season will introduce several new medieval-themed rounds and costumes.

• New rounds: packed with wild obstacles and plenty of new mechanics to test your characters' bravery and agility.

• New customization options: nameplates and banners will let you show off your pack-leading personality.

• Costumes: expect the latest fashion trends, with exciting collaborations and limited-edition cosmetics to keep your autumn look fresh.

Fall Guys is currently available on PC and PS4, with Season 2 launching on October 8.
