EA dropped a trailer for Battlefield V's Chapter 6, focusing on the Pacific conflict and the 'Solomon Islands' map. The Year 2 Edition, packed with first-year content, was also announced. It launches February 6.
Like the previous one, Chapter 6 also focuses on the Pacific conflict. This expansion brings players a new map, 'Solomon Islands,' along with the usual Battlefield update package: new weapons, vehicles, and character skins.
Based on current information, the 'Solomon Islands' map is designed for close-quarters combat—that beloved 'CQB' style many fans enjoy. Battlefield players have often longed for smaller maps, and EA seems to be listening to the community.
However, the trailer suggests the new map is quite large, even accommodating heavy vehicles. So, fans of classic 'close quarters' maps like 'Metro' might end up disappointed.
