Destiny 2's 'Solstice of Heroes 2019' summer event has begun
Destiny 2's 'Solstice of Heroes 2019' summer event is live. Take down mini-bosses, explore the European Aerial Zone, collect chests, and upgrade new armor sets.
Solstice of Heroes is a grand tradition among Guardians—a chance for us all to remember past struggles and celebrate the resilience of humanity's fiercest protectors. We invite all Destiny 2 players to join the event, running from July 30 to August 27.
In Solstice of Heroes 2019, your main objective is to eliminate as many mini-bosses as possible before time expires. Once the timer runs out, you'll face a final boss. After defeating them, you can explore the European Aerial Zone (EAZ) for treasure chests. More mini-bosses mean more treasure. These chests contain 'Solstice packages,' which you can open using Solstice Key Fragments earned by completing bounties throughout the event. Think of them as similar to Essence of Dawn.

By participating in the new event, you can acquire and then upgrade new armor for each class:

⤢ ВІДКРИТИYou'll be able to add armor glows to your Solstice of Heroes sets. These glows can be applied to any version of the armor to enhance your Guardian's look. The armor glows brightest when your subclass element matches the glow's element. Full sets can be purchased with Silver or Bright Dust. Importantly, these armor glows remain usable even after the Solstice of Heroes event ends.
By collecting all sets of legendary Solstice armor for all three classes, you will gain access to the EV-37 Voidstreak Sparrow.
