The new Death Stranding trailer showcases Sam Bridges, a new enemy-binding weapon, and a clash with a giant BT emerging from the void.
Sony and Kojima Productions just dropped a new cinematic Death Stranding trailer. It clocks in at just a minute, but it's packed with intriguing details.
As we've previously reported, Death Stranding centers around Sam Bridges, played by Norman Reedus.
Check out the trailer:
The trailer opens with Sam being chased by yellow-suited enemies patrolling the game world. To shake them, he whips out a cool-looking pistol capable of binding his pursuers. We also see Sam nearing "the void," one of the ominous craters left behind when BTs consume humans. The trailer climaxes with a gigantic BT emerging directly from one of these voids.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИEven though it's a pre-rendered clip, it undeniably looks fantastic. That said, expect few if any such cutscenes in the final game. Kojima has often stated his dislike for pre-rendered segments, arguing they disrupt the game world's integrity.
Death Stranding launches on PS4 on November 8.
