
CD Projekt RED has rolled out Cyberpunk 2077's 1.21 patch, addressing critical bugs and enhancing performance and stability across PC, consoles, and Google Stadia.
CD Projekt RED has released an unscheduled minor update, version 1.21, for its controversial game, Cyberpunk 2077. With this patch, the Polish developers focused on fixing critical bugs from the previous, major 1.2 update, as well as optimizing performance and improving game stability.
Hotfix 1.21 for Cyberpunk 2077 is now available! We're continuing to improve game stability and fix the most common issues preventing task completion. Below is a list of changes.

Quests and Open World
Fixed a bug in the 'Warm Welcome' gig that prevented players from lowering 8ug8ear's body temperature.
Fixed a bug in the 'Cyberpsycho Sighting: Discount Doc' quest that prevented some players from obtaining the 'Send in the Special Forces' chip. Reading the message on the chip is no longer mandatory.
Fixed a bug in the 'Gimme Danger' quest where Takemura wouldn't exit the Japantown docks if the player refused to go with him to Wakako and left the area too early.
Fixed a bug in the 'Cyberpsycho Sighting: Bloody Ritual' quest where clues scanned before talking to the wounded character wouldn't count.
Fixed a bug that prevented players from receiving the «Vandalism» quest when approaching Brendan after completing the previous related task.
Fixed a bug that prevented some players from completing the «The Ripperdoc» quest because the screen would go black when connecting to an access point.
Fixed a bug where the «Suspected Organized Crime Activity: Desperado» task wouldn't be marked as completed if the player opened the container without scanning the blood trail.
Fixed a bug that prevented some players from completing the «Sacred and Profane» quest because one of the Maelstromers would spawn in an unreachable location.
Fixed a bug that prevented some players from stopping one of the street muggings in Japantown.
Addressed a bug in 'The Hippocratic Oath' gig that could lead to a game crash if the player broke a window and then jumped through it.
Fixed several bugs in the 'Organized Crime: Privacy Policy' gig where enemies would pass through objects and float in the air.
Fixed a bug in the 'Organized Crime: Privacy Policy' gig that prevented some players from completing it because enemies wouldn't exit the hangar.
Mitch's video calls no longer loop if the call was previously interrupted.
Fixed bugs affecting Johnny's appearance in certain quests.
Fixed a bug in the 'Number One' quest where Dennis's car wouldn't spawn.
Players can now enter Dennis's car via the right door while performing the 'Number One' gig.
Fixed a bug in the 'Number One' quest that would shatter the hut's windows when the player opened the container.
The 'Number One' quest will now fail if the player doesn't take Haruyoshi to safety after opening the container.
Fixed a bug in the 'Gimme Danger' quest where weapons and consumables would sometimes become unavailable after the player exited Takemura's van.
Players can no longer call Takemura during the meeting with Oda in the 'Gimme Danger' quest.
Fixed a bug in the 'Play It Safe' quest where the player could encounter Oda on the bridge between Watson and Westbrook before heading to Takemura's hideout.
Fixed a bug in the 'Gimme Danger' quest where Oda's car could crash into the player's parked car.
Fixed a bug where the failed 'Happy Together' quest could get stuck on the objective 'Wait for a call from the panicked man'.
Fixed a bug that prevented some players from completing the 'Good as Gold' quest because the door to Cassius Ryder's clinic wouldn't open.
Saul will no longer follow the player everywhere if freed from captivity and then the 'Riders on the Storm' quest area is left.
Fixed a bug in 'The Prophet's Song' and 'Riders on the Storm' quests where a sandstorm could start in the city if the player fast-traveled there using a terminal.
The «Riders on the Storm» quest will now fail if you leave the Aldecaldos' camp without freeing Saul.
The «Gig: Severance Package» should now trigger correctly upon approaching the quest area.
Gameplay
Fixed a bug where police would appear behind players who broke the law on a building's roof.
Fixed an issue preventing players from climbing out of water using a ladder.
Graphics
Fixed bugs causing incorrect display of character clothing.
Interface
Enemies affected by the “Distract Enemies” script now correctly display an icon above their heads again.
The scanner interface has been simplified.
Fixed a bug where text could disappear if players changed the interface language from English to Japanese or Traditional Chinese.
Stability and performance
Improved memory management, reducing the likelihood of game crashes.
Console-only changes
In the Japanese version of the game on PlayStation 4, players can now select stickers in Photo Mode using the 'circle' button.
