Five days after setting a significant new record, Korean overclocker safedisk has once again made his mark. He achieved a new top score for Intel's latest Core i9-11900K and took first place in the overall 8-core ranking for the Geekbench4 - Single Core discipline.
This time, Safedisk pushed the "blue giant's" flagship 8-core processor to 7024 MHz, successfully completing the Geekbench4 benchmark with an impressive 11,409 points:
This achievement secured the overclocker an undisputed first place in the discipline, earning him gold in both the model-specific and overall 8-core rankings.
The enthusiast's test bench was largely unchanged from his previous attempt, with only the RAM modules swapped out. It consisted of the following components:
Motherboard — ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Apex;
RAM — two 8GB G.SKILL Trident Z Royal sticks;
Graphics card — ASUS GeForce GTX 980 Matrix Platinum Edition;
Power supply — Enermax MAXTYTAN 1250-watt;
Thermal paste — Arctic MX-5.
