CD Projekt Red has released patch 1.1 for Cyberpunk 2077, promising improved stability on PC and consoles alongside a host of bug fixes.
CD Projekt RED has rolled out patch 1.1, the first scheduled update for its highly hyped Cyberpunk 2077. With this release, the Polish developer has focused primarily on improving the shooter's stability and performance.
The studio also noted that the upcoming 1.2 update will continue to target performance and stability across last-gen consoles as well as PC.
Here are the key changes introduced in Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.1:
Stability
Improved game stability, including:
Optimized memory usage across various systems, including characters, environmental interactions, navigation, in-game media (news and TV), foliage, laser effects, the minimap, devices, AI, traffic, physics destruction, GPU usage, and more.
Fixed various crashes (including those related to loading saves, launching the game, exiting, and the point of no return).
Quests & open world
Fixed an issue where Delamain's calls during Epistrophy would end immediately and could not be answered.
Fixed an issue where Delamain would not call when approaching quest vehicles in Epistrophy.
Fixed an issue where M'ap Tann Pelen would get stuck on the objective 'Answer the call from Mr. Hands'.
Fixed an issue where Judy would teleport underground during Pyramid Song.
Fixed an issue where it was impossible to talk to the Zen Master during Poem of the Atoms.
Fixed an issue where Takemura would not call during Down on the Street.
Fixed an issue where Jackie would disappear during The Pickup.
Fixed an issue where players could not exit the vehicle during The Beast in Me: The Big Race.
Fixed an issue where players would stop receiving calls and messages if they moved too far from the quest area in With a Little Help from My Friends.
Fixed an issue where the quest objective for Space Oddity would not update after opening the briefcase.
Updated save files where a rare issue caused an invisible wall to block players from talking to Judy in Automatic Love. We are currently investigating the root cause of this bug.
Fixed an issue where players couldn't collect the reward for Gig: Freedom of the Press. For affected players, the reward will now be granted automatically, and the gig will close.
Fixed an issue where Delamain would remain silent during Epistrophy if the player had previously declined to help him.
UI
Fixed an issue where the prompt to exit braindance would not appear.
Removed loot icons from items that cannot be picked up.
Graphics
Fixed an issue where the grenade trajectory preview would display in Photo Mode.
Fixed an issue where particles would appear pink when viewed up close.
Fixed an issue where vehicles would spawn incorrectly during the Reported Crime: Welcome to Night City activity.
Achievements
Fixed an issue where completed gigs in Santo Domingo sometimes failed to register, preventing players from unlocking The Jungle achievement.
Misc
Fixed an issue where save file sizes exceeded the limit (due to a modifier tied to the number of crafted items) and reduced the size of existing saves. This won't fix PC save files that were already corrupted before hotfix 1.06.
Fixed an issue where input stopped registering after opening the weapon wheel and performing an action.
Fixed an issue where clicking 'Continue' in the main menu loaded an end-game save.
PlayStation changes
Optimized crowd performance on PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5.
Fixed several crashes on PlayStation 4.
Xbox changes
Improved memory management during character creation, mirror use, scanning, remote camera control, map navigation, and inventory menus on Xbox One, Xbox One X, and Xbox One S.
PC changes
Added support for unlocking Steam achievements offline. Offline mode must be enabled before launching the game. This change won't retroactively unlock achievements earned before the patch.
Fixed startup crashes related to cache loading on NVIDIA graphics cards.
Stadia changes
Fixed an issue where audio was missing during the concert in the A Like Supreme quest.
Fixed corrupted textures on several melee weapons.
Updated default gamepad deadzone settings. This will improve responsiveness, but only if you haven't already customized these settings.
