Apple is bringing Resident Evil Village, No Man's Sky, and Grid Legends to Mac, with NMS also landing on iPad, all thanks to the new Metal 3 API.
During its ongoing Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2022, Apple announced that games like Resident Evil Village, No Man's Sky, and Grid Legends are coming to Mac. What's more, even owners of the latest iPads will soon be able to explore No Man's Sky's expansive universe!
⤢ ВІДКРИТИThis is all thanks to Apple's new third-generation Metal API, which introduces MetalFX Upscaling. This technology, similar to NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR, promises to significantly boost the gaming performance of Apple's M-series SoCs.
Incidentally, given that Macs and iPads are now architecturally identical (apart from performance, of course), there's no reason why Resident Evil Village and Grid Legends shouldn't also make their way to iPad. Apple might announce these additional tablet releases later.
All these games are slated to arrive on Mac later this year, with the iPad version of No Man's Sky expected by the end of 2022.
