AMD updates roadmap: Ryzen 4000 and RDNA 2 arriving in 2020

Processors based on 7nm+ Zen 3 cores and graphics cards built on the updated RDNA 2 architecture are set to hit shelves in 2020. CPU production is expected to begin in the first half of the year, suggesting a launch closer to the end of 2020.

Aside from AMD's official confirmation that ray tracing will be available in the next-gen GPU lineup, information on RDNA 2 remains scarce. AMD itself says this will be a comprehensive hardware-software solution, noting that hardware alone isn't enough.
