AMD Radeon Adrenalin 19.9.1 driver boosts Gears 5 performance by up to 8%
AMD's Radeon Adrenalin 19.9.1 driver can boost Gears 5 performance by up to 8%. Tests conducted on a Radeon RX 5700 XT at 4K resolution showed this improvement.
Tests were conducted on August 30, 2019, using a Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card at 4K resolution. The performance boost was measured against the Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.8.2 driver.

It's currently unclear if older generation graphics cards, such as the RX 580/RX 480 or RX Vega, also see a performance uplift. Should any such information become available, we'll report on it separately.
