
AMD will continue producing reference Radeon RX 6900 and 6800 graphics cards through Q1 2021 to support partners during the ongoing GPU shortage.
Radeon Technologies Group Senior Director Riche Corpus confirmed that AMD expects additional shipments of reference Radeon RX 6000 cards in Q1 2021. Corpus also assured that AMD will continue supporting its partners with their custom PCB designs.
AMD previously suggested it would soon phase out reference Radeon RX 6900/6800 models, handing production over entirely to its board partners.

Historically, buying a reference card directly from AMD's official web store was practically the only way to get these highly coveted graphics cards at MSRP. Today, however, the odds of finding them in stock there are close to zero.
