⤢ ВІДКРИТИOverall, if the presented graphs are to be believed, the new card significantly outperforms its competitor, the GeForce GTX 1650. For example, in the "red" — i.e., AMD-optimized — game World War Z, the RX 5500 beat its opponent by 85%. Even in relatively neutral titles, the RX 5500's performance is impressive. In the popular EA shooter Battlefield 5, the new card edged out the GTX 1650 by a substantial 75%.
But these achievements are even more striking considering the lead in GTA V, a game traditionally optimized for NVIDIA graphics cards. Even in Rockstar's title, the RX 5500 managed to outperform its price competitor by 22%.
Naturally, we need to wait for independent reviews, but what we're seeing in these marketing materials is certainly exciting.
To recap, the Radeon RX 5500 graphics card features a chip with 1408 stream processors, equipped with a 128-bit bus. It will come with either 4GB or 8GB of GDDR6 memory (RX 5500 has 4GB, RX 5500 XT has 8GB) operating at 14 Gbps, providing 224 GB/s of bandwidth.
The GPU's clock speeds for "gaming mode" are set at 1717 MHz, with a maximum boost clock of 1845 MHz in automatic mode.
