
Ubisoft has finally dropped the system requirements for Far Cry 6. The upcoming title will support ray tracing and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, launching on October 7.
Ubisoft shared the system requirements for the upcoming sixth installment of its popular Far Cry franchise on its Twitter account.
This new chapter of the action-shooter will support ray tracing and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution image upscaling technology. Additionally, the game will feature an unlocked frame rate and access to detailed graphics settings.

It's quite strange that the developers set such a high bar for ray tracing at 1440p (requiring a GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT), yet didn't specify which graphics card would be needed for the more common 1080p.
Far Cry 6 is set to launch on October 7 and will be available on all current platforms (for PC, this includes Ubisoft Connect and EGS).
