
A leaked TecLab video review reveals the GeForce RTX 3090 is only 10% faster than the RTX 3080, despite costing twice as much.
TecLab accidentally (or, more likely, intentionally) published a video review of the GeForce RTX 3090 on its YouTube channel. Although it's since been removed, our colleagues at VideocardZ managed to compile a comprehensive report from it.
According to the TecLab review, with current drivers, the ultimate GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card is, on average, only 10% faster than the already available RTX 3080. It's worth noting that despite such a modest advantage, the RTX 3090 costs twice as much as the RTX 3080.
The test bench used for the RTX 3080 experiments consisted of the following components: an Intel Core i9-10900K CPU overclocked to 5GHz, 32GB of RAM clocked at 4133MHz, and a 1TB Galax HOF PRO M.2 SSD.
