
American overclocker Splave pushed an AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT to 5675 MHz, securing a world record in the HWBOT x265 4k benchmark for 12-core CPUs.
American enthusiast Splave today made headlines in overclocking and benchmarking with the recently released AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT. The overclocker managed to get a golden sample 3900XT and, using liquid nitrogen, pushed the chip to 5675 MHz. RAM operated at 3932.4 MHz with 14-14-24-48 timings. Thanks to these impressive clock speeds, Splave secured first place in the HWBOT x265 Benchmark - 4k category for the CPU model, and also claimed the top spot among all 12-core CPUs:
