Overclocker Splave pushed the AMD Ryzen 9 3900 to 5500 MHz, achieving a new Cinebench R15 record. The appearance of the 65-watt Ryzen 9 3900 (non-X) suggests a fast-approaching release.
While this is only gold in its specific model category, and currently the American overclocker's sole entry, the record is significant. It reveals that some overclockers already have the Ryzen 9 3900 in hand. This could mean we won't have to wait until November, and the new 65-watt CPU might hit shelves very soon.
