
After Sony shared an official PlayStation 5 teardown, Microsoft was quick to poke fun at how complicated it is to change the console's orientation compared to the Xbox.
Just minutes ago, the official PlayStation YouTube channel posted a teardown video of the next-generation PlayStation 5. In a fairly lengthy clip, Masayasu Ito, SIE's EVP of Hardware Engineering and Operation, tears down the PS5 using a standard hex screwdriver. He also explains how to remove the console's stand and position it horizontally instead of vertically:
But it didn't end there. Microsoft was quick to respond to the new guide from its Japanese rivals. Shortly after the video dropped, the official Xbox UK Twitter account posted its own instructions on how to transition the Xbox Series X from vertical to horizontal, poking fun at the steps required to do the same for Sony's console:
