Fans have successfully ported Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to modded Nintendo Switch consoles. This unofficial release was made possible by reverse-engineering the game's original code.
Good news for owners of modified Nintendo Switch consoles: enthusiasts have finally released a port of the legendary Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for Nintendo's handheld device today.
To bring Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to the Switch, the enthusiast team reverse-engineered the source code for both GTA III and GTA VC.
Incidentally, this isn't the first time a Rockstar Games title has received this treatment; last year saw an unofficial port of Grand Theft Auto III also land on the Switch.

For those who need a refresher, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City first debuted on PlayStation 2 back in 2002. It was subsequently adapted for Xbox, PC, and mobile platforms.
