Just a few days ago, German overclocker sergmann set a significant record in the Intel Core i9-9900KS Cinebench R15 benchmark, and he's already broken it today.
The overclocker's previous score was 3134 points, achieved by maintaining a processor frequency of 6974MHz. Today, sergmann pushed that to 3138 points, still at the same frequency. It's possible the enthusiast applied some necessary OS tweaks, or it could simply be a minor variance. It's hard to say for sure, but the record is no less impressive.
Even with the improved score, sergmann still couldn't climb past third place in the 8-core leaderboard:
