Sergmann takes first place in Intel Core i9-9900KS model ranking

German enthusiast sergmann has added two rather impressive achievements to his record collection in Cinebench - R15.

As you might guess from this news item's description, the first achievement was gold in the Intel Core i9-9900KS processor's model ranking. The second was third place among all eight-core CPUs.

The Core i9-9900KS chip was overclocked to a significant 6974 MHz, achieving a score of 3134 points:

Subjectively, of course, the second achievement seems far more significant. It involved 1218 competitors, compared to the Core i9-9900KS model record, which only had 23 overclockers.

The German's test bench included:

• Motherboard - EVGA Z390 Dark (131-CS-E399-KR)

• RAM - two 8 GB GALAX OC LAB sticks with Samsung chips

• Graphics card - NVIDIA GeForce GT 710

• PSU - Seasonic Platinum 1200W

The enthusiast didn't list the other components, but they wouldn't have affected the final result anyway.
