
Battlefield 2042's release has been delayed. Insider Tom Henderson reports the Open Beta will start October 6 for pre-orders and October 8 for all players.
We recently covered DICE's decision to push Battlefield 2042's release back a full month, from October 22 to November 19. Naturally, this also meant the multiplayer shooter's open beta would be delayed. However, the Swedish developer didn't announce a new OBT launch date, leaving gamers hanging.
Fortunately, Tom Henderson (an insider known for Battlefield and Call of Duty leaks) has once again surfaced, sharing the latest Battlefield 2042 details with his Twitter followers:

The insider claims Battlefield 2042's open beta will begin on October 6. That's when pre-order players will gain server access, with everyone else able to jump into Battlefield 2042 on October 8.
