
Bethesda VP Pete Hines revealed that details on The Elder Scrolls VI won't emerge until after Starfield launches, a game whose release date remains unknown.
Despite the last single-player game in The Elder Scrolls series releasing nearly a decade ago, fans haven't forgotten about it. Enthusiasts passionately support the current iteration, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and eagerly await the legendary series' continuation.
Pete Hines (Bethesda Softworks' VP of PR and Marketing) was asked about the long-awaited successor to the fifth installment of The Elder Scrolls, and to everyone's surprise, he quickly responded:

We won't be able to share anything about The Elder Scrolls VI until after our Starfield project releases. And that won't be anytime soon.
This makes it abundantly clear that we shouldn't expect any news about The Elder Scrolls VI anytime soon. After all, even Starfield, mentioned above, hasn't received an official release date yet.
