Ultimately, all CPU stock sold out almost instantly, with chip prices reaching 100,000 Japanese Yen ($913).
Japanese retailers have noted a significant surge in AMD processor sales. In fact, sources indicate that the 32-core Ryzen Threadripper 3970X, priced at 260,000 Japanese Yen ($2,370), is also selling quite well.
