Intel is phasing out its Ice Lake-U, Comet Lake-U, and Lakefield processor lines to make way for Tiger Lake-U. Final shipments are scheduled for April 2022.
According to information from our colleagues at ComputerBase and VideoCardZ, Intel is discontinuing three series of its low-power consumer products.
The affected series include the 10th-gen Intel Core Comet Lake-U, 10th-gen Core Ice Lake-U, and 11th-gen Lakefield.
While Intel has already ceased production of these CPUs, the final shipments of these chips are scheduled to begin in April 2022. This means buyers can still pick up laptops featuring Ice Lake-U, Comet Lake-U, or Lakefield series processors for a limited time.
