The Epic Games Store is giving away Overcooked for free, replacing the previously announced ARK: Survival Evolved. It's a culinary game for 1–4 players.
It seems Epic Games decided not to indulge curious enthusiasts and changed the final game from its previously leaked list. A month ago, rumors suggested ARK: Survival Evolved would be the free title from June 4-11 on the EGS. However, just minutes ago, it was revealed that Overcooked has taken its place.
Overall, Epic Games could still offer ARK: Survival Evolved with a 100% discount in the future, but the chances of such generosity have significantly decreased. And it's hard to blame them: it's incredibly frustrating when you're preparing a surprise for your customers, only for the information to be leaked a month before the planned release date.
As for Overcooked itself, it's a culinary game designed for 1–4 players. You'll need to prepare a variety of dishes to keep customers at your establishment for as long as possible.
You can claim Overcooked via this link, or by launching the EGS application.
