Genshin Impact developers plan to release updates every six weeks, with the new Dragonspine region set to debut in December.
By now, practically every gamer on Earth has heard of the wildly popular gacha RPG Genshin Impact (a game heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild). The game is currently topping the charts on Twitch, while Genshin guides and Let's Plays on YouTube are racking up an insane number of likes and comments.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИCapitalizing on the game's massive success, developer MiHoYo is keeping communication lines wide open. We recently learned that the game will eventually feature seven major regions to explore, and yesterday the developers announced plans to roll out new content roughly every six weeks.
However, don't expect a new area in the very next update. According to MiHoYo, the November patch will bring the "Unreconciled Stars" event, while the new "Dragonspine" region is slated for the December update. Finally, the developers teased some upcoming February content, with plans to launch the "Lantern Rite" event towards the end of winter.
