
The Brotherhood of Steel returns to Fallout 76 this December in the free Steel Dawn update, bringing new locations and a brand-new questline.
Unfortunately, Fallout 76 failed to win over loyal fans or critics at launch. After such a weak start for a highly anticipated game, it seemed like Bethesda would eventually shut down the flop. But the Elder Scrolls developer refused to bury Fallout 76, doing everything possible to revive it.
Surprisingly, Bethesda actually managed to pull it off to some extent: the buggy, content-starved project slowly grew with new expansions, and its numerous issues were steadily patched.
Fallout 76 fans, rejoice: Bethesda announced today that the Brotherhood of Steel, one of the franchise's most popular factions, will return to the game this December.
The free Steel Dawn update will introduce players to the Brotherhood and kick off a multi-part storyline extending into 2021. The update will also bring new locations, NPCs, and plenty of other content.
