Overclocker Elkim has set three new records using the Intel Core i9-9900KS processor in Cinebench R15, HWBOT x265, and GPUPI for CPU benchmarks.
The Core i9-9900KS chip recently hit the market, and overclockers are already exploring its full potential.
Czech enthusiast Elkim got his hands on a relatively decent sample of Intel's flagship processor and managed to set several records with it.
He scored 3047 points in Cinebench R15 at a chip frequency of 6826MHz:

⤢ ВІДКРИТИIn HWBOT x265 Benchmark - 4k, he achieved 24.025 frames per second at a processor frequency of 6766MHz:

⤢ ВІДКРИТИThe highest frequency of 6930.3MHz was achieved in the GPUPI for CPU - 1B benchmark, resulting in a time of 1 minute, 48 seconds, and 965 milliseconds:

⤢ ВІДКРИТИWhy did I describe the chip as only 'relatively decent'? Because the best Core i9-9900KF samples can easily hit over 7000MHz. Given the Core i9-9900KS's novelty, we might even see results above 7300MHz.
Among the components Elkim used for these achievements, only the ASUS ROG Maximus XI Apex motherboard and a 1200-watt Seasonic PRIME power supply are known.
