Dragon Soop sets triple GeForce GTX 980 Ti record

British overclocker Dragon Soop set a record with three top-tier, last-gen GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics cards in 3DMark Vantage - Performance.

The enthusiast secured the top spot in the triple GeForce GTX 980 Ti category by doing the following:

Using a phase-change cooling system, the Brit pushed an 18-core, 34-thread flagship Intel Core i9-10980XE processor to 5500MHz. For the three GALAX GeForce GTX 980 Ti HOF OC Lab Edition graphics cards, simple water cooling was enough. The final result was a GPU clock speed of 1478MHz and memory clock of 7912MHz.

This allowed the overclocker to achieve a score of 120,047 points, securing Dragon Soop first place in the triple GeForce GTX 980 Ti category, second place in the overall triple GPU category, and 52nd place for any multi-GPU configuration. That's pretty impressive.
