Original story:
CD Projekt RED has released another patch for its wildly popular Cyberpunk 2077. For now, hotfix 1.05 is only available to download on last-gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One).
According to the developers, the PC fix will arrive a bit later (no exact date yet). The update weighs in at a hefty 17 GB, so console owners might want to start downloading it as soon as possible.

PC fixes
[AMD SMT] Optimized core and thread utilization for 4-core and 6-core AMD Ryzen(tm) processors. There are no changes for 8-core, 12-core, and 16-core processors, as they already perform as intended. This optimization was co-developed with AMD and based on testing from both sides, which showed performance improvements only on CPUs with 6 cores or fewer.
Fixed an issue with raw input collection.
Removed the AVX instruction set requirement, which should fix crashes at the end of the prologue on older CPUs that don't support it.
Removed the debug console to prevent players from using features that could crash the game or break quests. This doesn't mean we don't want to support the modding community; stay tuned for more updates on that front.
Ray-traced reflections should no longer appear overly bright compared to the surrounding environment.
Fixed a Steam overlay crash when closing the game.
Removed the memory_pool_budgets.csv file, which was not used in the final release and had no impact on it. It was a leftover file used during development to estimate memory budgets and did not affect actual memory allocation. Any perceived performance improvements after editing it were likely just due to restarting the game.
Console-specific fixes
Improved image sharpness when chromatic aberration and film grain are enabled.
Settings should no longer reset to default after restarting the game multiple times.
Fixed visual issues during the transition between 'The Heist' and 'Love Like Fire'.
Fixed the appearance of several vehicles.
[Xbox] Entering combat while the Synaptic Accelerator cyberware is active no longer causes the player's health bar to disappear.
[Xbox] The game will no longer freeze when signing out of a profile while the controller disconnection message is visible.
The telemetry consent prompt will appear once more due to the settings reset bug.
Fixed an issue where you could fall down the elevator shaft in Megabuilding H8 during the 'Automatic Love' quest.
