
Developers have released patch 1.04 for Cyberpunk 2077, fixing numerous bugs and improving stability on both PC and consoles.
CD Projekt RED has released hotfix 1.04 for Cyberpunk 2077, which is now available on PC and PlayStation consoles. Meanwhile, the development team is already hard at work on the Xbox update, aiming to roll it out as soon as possible.
Here is the full list of changes, fixes, and improvements:
Fixed an issue with completing the final objective in 'Gig: Freedom of the Press'.
Fixed an issue with starting the conversation with Johnny at the end of 'Life During Wartime'.
Fixed a rare issue where NPCs would stop calling V if 'Second Conflict' was interrupted halfway through.
Fixed an issue where Nix would not go into his default state in 'Spellbound' and 'KOLD MIRAGE'.
Fixed progression-blocking issues in 'I Fought the Law' if the player left the quest area.
Fixed an issue where Delamain could not be found in 'Epistrophy'.
Fixed issues related to being stuck in the second phase of the quest after completing the Pacifica fight with Ozob during post-gameplay.
Fixed an issue where Nomads would no longer appear if V left the quest area mid-combat in 'With a Little Help from My Friends' or 'Queen of the Highway'.
Corrected objective tracking and re-enabled the quest tracker in 'M'ap Tann Pèlen', 'I Walk the Line', and 'Transmission'.
Fixed constraints on standing up and sitting down when conditions were not met in 'Play It Safe'.
Fixed timing and progression issues resulting from leaving the quest area or abandoning the quest in 'Big in Japan'.
Fixed an issue where the conversation with Johnny would not start after leaving the hotel in 'Tapeworm'.
Fixed an issue where the quest would block when leaving the area before climbing the hill in 'Big in Japan'.
Fixed an issue where the 'Go to booth 9' objective would not complete if the player entered the room too quickly in 'Automatic Love'.
Fixed issues with Jackie sitting motionless in 'The Ripperdoc'.
Other quest fixes
Fixed the weapon crafting preview.
Reduced vehicle pop-in.
Sped up switching from first-person to third-person perspective while driving.
Fixed missing animations for key quest NPCs during cinematics.
Improved stability, including various crash fixes.
Modified the flashing effect on braindances to reduce the risk of inducing epileptic symptoms. The effect has been smoothed out, and the frequency and intensity of the flashes have been reduced.
Removed copyrighted tracks that incorrectly played in-game when the 'Disable Copyrighted Music' feature was enabled.
Switching the default language in the game settings now correctly updates the language in your Steam client.
Improved reflection quality on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 to eliminate smudge and blur.
Fixed an issue where 'The Wasteland' achievement would get stuck at 97% after completing all relevant Badlands missions on Xbox.
However, there is some bad news regarding this patch. On the project's official forum, some players are complaining that the game fails to launch after the 1.04 update. But judging by these reports, the issue is currently limited to the PC version.
