Cyberpunk 2077's release has been pushed back once more, now launching on November 19 instead of September 17. CD Projekt RED cites further development and bug fixing as the reason.
Representatives from Polish developer CD Projekt RED shared this information via their Twitter account. Previously, the game was set to hit shelves on September 17, 2020, but the new release date for Cyberpunk 2077 is now November 19, 2020.
Below is a letter from developer CD Projekt RED, addressed to Cyberpunk 2077 fans:

We've decided to move the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 from September 17th to November 19th. Those of you familiar with how we make games know that we won't ship something that isn't ready. 'Ready when it's ready' isn't just a phrase we say because it sounds right; it's something we live by, even when we know we'll take flak for it. At the same time, we're fully aware that making this decision costs us your trust. And while we believe it's the right choice for the game's ultimate quality, we still want to apologize for making you wait longer. We aim to make Cyberpunk 2077 something that will stay with you for years to come. Ultimately, we hope you understand why we've done what we've done. As we write these words, Cyberpunk 2077 is complete both in terms of content and gameplay. Quests, cutscenes, skills, and items; all the adventures Night City has to offer — it's all there. But with so much content and complex systems intertwined, we need to go through everything properly, balance the game mechanics, and fix a multitude of bugs. A massive world means a massive amount of things to test, and we'll be spending the extra time doing just that. This week, journalists from around the world are starting to play the game independently. We're eager (and feeling intense stress) to hear their thoughts and to see your reactions when they publish their preliminary reviews right after we air 'Night City Wire' on June 25th. We hope this will satisfy some of your hunger for the game as we work towards its November release.
Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. Additionally, the action title will likely arrive on next-gen consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, in the future.
