AMD Ryzen 4000 ‘Renoir’ chips to launch on July 21

AMD's Ryzen 4000G APUs and refreshed Ryzen 3000XT CPUs are set to launch on July 21, including PRO versions. These new chips will be compatible with AM4 motherboards.

Just a few hours ago, our colleagues at WccfTech got their hands on information regarding the launch date of AMD's latest Ryzen 4000G processors with integrated graphics, based on Zen 2 architecture and Vega graphics.

The leak suggests these APUs will launch on July 21, joined by the refreshed Ryzen 3000XT "Matisse Refresh" CPUs.

Beyond the standard integrated graphics processors, AMD will also introduce three PRO versions of the Ryzen 4000G: the Ryzen 7 PRO 4750G, Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G, and Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G. These chips will feature low TDPs of 65W and 35W, depending on core count and clock speed. Below is a table with the specifications of the upcoming APUs:

Regarding compatibility with current motherboards, almost all AMD partner manufacturers already have the necessary BIOS (AGESA 1.0.0.1) in stable or beta versions, supporting the latest Ryzen 4000 APUs on AM4 socket boards.
