CD Projekt Red updates Cyberpunk 2077 system requirements

In addition, CD Projekt Red detailed the system requirements for 1440p at ultra settings:

• RAM: 12 GB;

• Graphics card: NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (6 GB+);

• Storage: 70 GB SSD.

They also shared the specs for 4K at ultra settings:

• Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600;

• RAM: 16 GB;

• Graphics card: NVIDIA RTX 2080 SUPER / RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT (8 GB+);

And, of course, CDPR finally published the long-awaited hardware requirements for running the game with ray tracing enabled:

Overall, even for 4K on ultra, Cyberpunk 2077's final system requirements are surprisingly modest. Things look even better for the mainstream 1080p crowd: the game is optimized for popular cards like the GTX 1060 and RX 590, meaning the vast majority of players will be able to enjoy it on high settings.

As for the hyped ray tracing features, CDPR's close partnership with NVIDIA suggests that ray tracing will likely perform better on Team Green's hardware. Still, we will have to wait for the actual release to see how it plays out.
