The ASUS ROG STRIX Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card is set to run at up to 2500 MHz with a TGP of around 290W.
Software engineer Patrick Schur has shared a few new details on Twitter about AMD's upcoming Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards. According to Patrick, a custom engineering sample of the ASUS ROG Strix Radeon RX 6800 XT can boost up to an impressive ~2500MHz with a TGP (Total Graphics Power) of around 290W. That said, the card's average clock speed hovers around ~2298MHz.

Since these results come from engineering samples, the retail cards will likely run at slightly higher clock speeds. The final TGP might also vary depending on those clocks, as higher speeds will naturally increase power draw.
Schur mentioned three different test systems, with the graphics cards running at different speeds on each. He explained that this discrepancy is due to early, unoptimized drivers, adding that these issues should be fully resolved by the time the RX 6000 series hits store shelves.
He also shared a chart showing how much time the GPU spends at various clock speeds:

According to his data, the RX 6800 XT stays above 2300MHz over 80% of the time. That's a very solid result, even for a custom partner card.
AMD is set to officially unveil the Radeon RX 6000 family on October 28. One thing is for sure: the second half of 2020 is shaping up to be an incredibly exciting time for PC hardware enthusiasts.
