According to the latest leaks, AMD's upcoming Navi 22 GPU is set to power the next-gen mid-range Radeon RX 6700 and RX 6800 graphics cards.
According to reports from Videocardz and tweets from reliable insider TUM_APISAK, the Navi 22 GPU could power the mid-range Radeon RX 6700 and RX 6800 graphics cards.
Current rumors suggest the RDNA 2-based Navi 22 chip features 40 compute units (64 SPs per CU) for a total of 2,560 stream processors, alongside a 192-bit GDDR6 memory interface.
When it comes to the architecture, we don't have any exact details just yet. Navi 22's specs look remarkably similar to Navi 10 (RX 5700 / RDNA 1), with the obvious exception of the bus width...
If Navi 22 turns out to be a slightly cut-down Navi 10, AMD's affordable graphics cards might not bring highly anticipated ray tracing support to the mid-range segment. We can only hope this is just a coincidence and that Navi 22 shares nothing with Navi 10.
