Insider _rogame shared initial overclocking data for AMD's Ryzen 3 3300X (4400 MHz) and Ryzen 3 3100 (up to 4600 MHz) CPUs. Independent tests are coming.
Renowned and highly reliable insider _rogame shared this data. On his Twitter account, he posted a screenshot confirming a Ryzen 3 3300X processor completed the 3DMark Time Spy benchmark at 4400 MHz.

Then an image with its younger sibling's results appeared. And just look at the recorded frequency! If this information is accurate, not only the higher-end 3300X but also the more affordable Ryzen 3 3100 chip could theoretically be overclocked to an impressive 4600 MHz!
Of course, it's too early to draw definitive conclusions. We'll need to wait for the official release of AMD's new budget processors and independent overclocking experiments. Still, as we all know, there's usually some truth behind the rumors.
What's more, it's honestly not surprising these "lighter" chips can hit higher clock speeds, given the number of disabled cores in their CCX modules.
