Benchmarks show AMD's Radeon RX 5300M mobile graphics card beating the GeForce GTX 1650 (Max-Q). It comes with 3GB of memory and a 192-bit bus.
Just yesterday, we reported that the Radeon RX 5600 XT might feature an unusual 6GB of VRAM and an even more unconventional 192-bit memory bus. Now, new leaks have surfaced, this time about the mobile RX 5300M, which reportedly shares similar specs.
These rumors come courtesy of notebookcheck.net, which has already published the first benchmarks for the Radeon RX 5300M.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИFirst off, the upcoming card is rumored to feature that same 192-bit memory bus, but with its VRAM cut in half to 3GB. The Radeon RX 5300M's chip configuration will reportedly include 1408 stream processors, clocked at 1445 MHz.
AMD's lineup will also feature a Pro version of the 5300M. This variant will see its configuration shift slightly: it will have 1208 stream processors instead of 1408, but video memory will increase to 4GB, and the bus will expand to 256 bits.
Our colleagues at notebookcheck.net ran several tests on an undisclosed laptop featuring the RX 5300M graphics card and a Ryzen 7 3750H processor:
